ABOUT LEASIDE Leaside was settled by the Lea family in the early years of the Nineteenth Century , the Town of Leaside was officially incorporated on April 23 1913.
Located in Toronto's former Borough of East York, Leaside is a lovely retreat hidden in the heart of our bustling Megacity only minutes to downtown via the bayview extension .

COMMUNITY EVENTS
"Christmas in Leaside" celebrates the tenth year of showcasing the artisans of the Leaside Craft Guild and guests. You will find original handmade gifts and decorations from teddy bears, woodworking and elves to intarsia knitting, quilts and hand crafted silver. Saturday Dec. 2 from 10:00 - 2:00 at the Trace Manes Community Centre, 110 Rumsey Road ( 5 blocks south of Eglinton, 3 blocks east of Bayview). Admission is free. Please bring a non perishable item for the food bank.

THE LEASIDE CRAFT GUILD The Leaside Craft Guild is hosting "The Crafter's Cupboard" on Sat. Jan. 20th from 9am - noon at Trace Manes Community Centre, 110 Rumsey Road. This is a great opportunity for teachers, day care providers, nursery schools, parents, Guiding and Scouting leaders and other crafty types to find some real bargains as serious crafters clean out some of their supplies.
